About Best Western Premier Ankeny Hotel
A polished suburban stay where modern interiors and quieter surroundings keep Des Moines travel straightforward.
Best Western Premier Ankeny Hotel brings a more contemporary style to the northern Des Moines suburbs, combining business-friendly amenities with the calmer pace of Ankeny. The property balances practical travel needs with a cleaner, more upscale atmosphere than many roadside hotels nearby. Guests move through open lobby spaces with modern finishes before settling into rooms designed around comfort, work, and short extended stays. The hotel’s indoor pool, restaurant spaces, and fitness facilities create a flexible environment suited to business travelers, weekend visitors, and families passing through central Iowa. Rooms include plush bedding, work desks, WiFi access, and seating areas that help longer stays feel less temporary. Large windows and neutral tones keep the interiors bright without becoming overly formal, while the location near Interstate access makes reaching downtown Des Moines relatively simple. Amenities throughout the property focus on efficiency and convenience, though the quieter suburban setting gives the hotel a noticeably calmer rhythm than busier downtown alternatives. The overall atmosphere feels modern and functional without losing the relaxed pace that defines much of Ankeny.
